Requesting a recording

Tell us the module code and the specific step you want covered. Requests for a whole practical are usually declined; requests for one technique that keeps going wrong are usually accepted, and tend to be filmed within a term.

Using these in your own teaching

Linking is fine and needs no permission. Downloading and re-hosting is not, mostly because corrections never propagate to copies — a recording with a known error in it then circulates indefinitely. If your VLE cannot embed from here, write and we will arrange something.

Reporting a playback problem

Include the page address, the browser and what you see on screen: a black frame, a spinner that never resolves, or an error message. That is normally enough to identify the cause.

Corrections

If a recording shows something that is wrong, or that has since been superseded by a change in the method, tell us and it comes down the same day. Being out of date is worse than having a gap in the index.
